6 THINGS PARENTS NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MCU

1

You believe in your child’s potential. So do we.

Our small campus opens up the world to students. They problem solve in real-world situations, develop close relationships with people from across the globe, and get the experiences to be successful and well-rounded.

2

We nudge students to greatness.

Thea Domingo’s professor nudged her to intern for the Grammys.

Hunter Ryan’s professor nudged him to run for SGA president.

Arielle Acosta’s professor nudged her to complete three internships with different law enforcement agencies.

3

Our degrees add up.

Every program confers two degrees: an associate degree as a midway milestone and a bachelor’s degree as a launch pad to careers.

Students can even add an MBA to any four-year degree with just one extra year of study. This is a smart way to gain a top credential while you’re still in the student groove.

4

We push our students to graduate in four years.

We work with students to set their course plans, help them stay on track and get them into the classes they need to graduate on time. If they do their part, we’ll do ours.

5

We bring learning to life.

MCU is a natural fit for A students. But it’s also good for students ready to blossom. Here students gain professional skills they can put to work in real time through internships, access to industry experts, connections with supportive faculty, behind-the-scenes site visits and other career-driving experiences.

6

Your student may qualify for financial aid.

MCU offers first-time freshman merit scholarships, merit and need-based scholarships, athletic scholarships, and transfer merit scholarships. MCU scholarships range from $5,000-$15,000 per year and are awarded based on high school GPA and ACT or SAT scores.
